Footage shared online shows young supporters rocking a car from side to side as police motorbikes can be seen flashing in the foreground.

Car horns can be heard repeatedly beeping before the celebrations went on into the early hours of Saturday morning.

Spain booked their place in the World Cup semi-finals after defeating Belgium on penalties following a tense quarter-final.

The victory sparked jubilant scenes across the country, with fans pouring into streets, squares and bars to celebrate late into the night.

While most celebrations passed off peacefully, footage from Fuengirola showed some supporters taking things further.

Footage showed dozens of people running through the streets while setting off flares and waving Spanish flags.

The scenes came just days after Benalmadena Town Hall issued a public warning aimed at England supporters.

It urged them to keep the noise down during future World Cup celebrations and to avoid disturbing residents with shouting, car horns and fireworks.
