Movie lovers in Benahavis are in for a treat this summer as the town’s popular open-air cinema returns with four free screenings under the stars.
Throughout July, the picturesque Parque Torre Leonera will once again transform into an outdoor cinema, offering residents and visitors the chance to enjoy a series of evening film screenings in a relaxed summer setting.
All films will be shown on Friday nights at 10.15pm, with entry completely free until capacity is reached.
And there’s another bonus for cinema-goers: while attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs or blankets, free popcorn will be provided.
What’s showing?
The programme kicks off on July 3 with Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning, the latest instalment in the blockbuster action franchise.
A week later, on July 10, audiences can enjoy El 47.
On July 17, the spotlight turns to Bridget Jones: Mad About the Boy, which will be screened in its original English version with Spanish subtitles.
The season concludes on July 24 with How to Train Your Dragon, a family-friendly adventure expected to draw audiences of all ages.

The initiative has become one of Benahavís’ most popular summer events, combining warm evenings, family entertainment and a unique outdoor setting.
With free entry, blockbuster films and complimentary popcorn, organisers are hoping the screenings will once again make Parque Torre Leonera a lively meeting point throughout July.
