A late-night fire in Torremolinos has destroyed two adapted mobility scooters outside a residential property, in an incident that could have been far worse.
The blaze broke out in the early hours at a home in the Carihuela Palace urbanisation, located on Avenida Carlota Alessandri.
The fire started in the porch area of the property, where the two mobility scooters designed for people with reduced mobility were parked.
Both vehicles were destroyed as the flames took hold.
Firefighters from the local station were quickly deployed to the scene and managed to extinguish the fire before it could spread to the main building or nearby homes.

According to the Consorcio Provincial de Bomberos de Malaga, no injuries were reported.
Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause of the blaze.
The affected area, close to the popular La Carihuela neighbourhood, remains one of the busiest residential zones in the municipality.
