Andalucia is bracing for a day of wet and windy weather on Friday as Storm Therese sweeps across the region, putting multiple provinces on alert.
Spain’s state weather agency Aemet has issued orange and yellow warnings for rain, strong winds and dangerous sea conditions across parts of the south.
The four provinces on alert are Cadiz, Malaga (Costa del Sol and Axarquia), Granada and Almeria.
Forecasters warn the situation could worsen, with more areas potentially affected as the storm develops.
The biggest concern is along the Mediterranean coast, where orange alerts for rough seas have been activated between Malaga city and Almeria city.
In some areas, winds could reach 60 to 80km/hr, whipping up waves as high as four to five metres.
Across much of Andalucía, skies will remain overcast with bursts of heavy rain, especially in the western half during the morning.

The Costa del Sol is on alert for downpours between midnight and 9am Friday.
Some rainfall could be intense, with up to 15mm of rain in just one hour in parts of Cadiz.
Thunderstorms are also possible, adding to the unsettled conditions.
Temperatures are expected to remain largely unchanged, while winds should gradually ease inland later in the day, though coastal areas will continue to feel the worst of the storm.
