A 25-year-old man has been hospitalised after plunging 10 metres from a viewpoint in the Bajondillo area of Torremolinos.
The unnamed man was taken to Malaga’s Hospital Clínico early this Sunday morning.
Emergency services received a call at around 8.30am reporting that a man had fallen from a height in Calle Castillo del Ingles.
The Policia Nacional, Local Police, paramedics from 061 and firefighters were all dispatched to the scene.
Fire crews were required to rescue the man before he could be treated.
Although the full extent of his injuries is not yet known, local reports say he was conscious when emergency teams reached him.
He was stabilised at the scene and transported by ambulance to the Hospital Clínico in Malaga city.
