An adorable pet dog missing from the Cordoba train disaster has finally been captured by rescuers and reunited with his owner.
Little Boro survived the collision in Adamuz on Sunday night but fled the scene ‘scared and terrified’.
His location was found on Wednesday and was being monitored by animal experts.
FInally on Thursday, the Junta de Andalucia shared the news that he had been captured.
He was reunited with his owner, Ana, who had been injured in the accident that has claimed 45 lives.
In a video shared with Canal Sur, Boro can be seen hugging his owner non-stop while seated together on the floor of a hotel room.
Ana thanked the news channel for sharing the story of Boro’s disappearance.
She added: ‘We have Boro here, who is giving me lots of love, and me to him… thank you so much to everyone.’
Animal rights group PACMA previously told reporters that Boro was found by the Guardia Civil but managed to escape when they tried to capture him.
Volunteer firefighters had also joined the search in a bid to reunite Boro with his desperate owner.
‘The situation has been extremely delicate and, out of respect for the family, it was agreed to maintain discretion,’ the group explained in a story posted on Instagram.
Would-be volunteers had been asked to stay away from the area, as they may have disruped the rescue mission.

Boro’s owner, Ana Garcia Aranda, 26, was traveling with her pregnant sister Raquel and her brother-in-law when the train left the tracks and derailed.
She told El Español how she picked him up in the immediate aftermath of the crash, but that he was so scared that he ran away.
She said Boro is very skittish and would probably run away as soon as someone tried to approach him.
