Storm Claudia is wreaking havoc across Andalucia after causing ravines to overflow and breaking roads in half.
In Nerva, Huelva, footage shared on X shows the moment streets began to fill with flood water following the bursting of the Santa Maria ravine.
In the clip, bar owners can be seen quickly bringing in their chairs and tables from their terraces, while a police car drives down the street to sound the alarm to residents.
Meanwhile, in Castillo de las Guardas, Sevilla, respected lawyer Jorge Cortes shared a video showing how a major road had been completely cut in half by a sinkhole.
Below the carriageway, a car can be seen wrecked. One of the vehicle’s four occupants remains injured, reports Diario de Sevilla.
The dramatic scenes come as Storm Claudia continues to lash much of the Andalucia region with rain.
The provinces of Huelva and Sevilla were placed on an orange alert for extreme rain and strong winds on Saturday.
Meanwhile, Malaga (including the Costa del Sol), Cadiz and parts of Granada and Almeria were placed on yellow alerts.
Earlier on Saturday, the extreme wind caused a freak tornado in nearby Albufeira Portugal, killing an 85-year-old British woman and injuring up to 30 others.
Towns across Huelva, including Moguer, are seeing extreme flooding, with streets seen totally submerged in water.
In the neighbouring province of Sevilla, several ravines and streams are dangerously close to overflowing.
