Spaniards have the fifth most powerful passport in the world, according to a new ranking.
The document, which has previously been ranked the most powerful, sits behind Singapore, Finland, Denmark and Switzerland.

That’s according to the VisaGuide Passport Index, which was updated in July – and which has ‘no joint positions’ in its ranking.
Being a full Spanish citizen allows for visa-free travel in 107 countries and passport-free movement between 43 nation states.


According to VisaGuide, Spain has a passport score of 90.59.
First place Singapore, meanwhile, has a score of 91.41, followed by Finland (90.88), Denmark (90.72) and Switzerland (90.70).
Filling out the top 10 after Spain are Norway (90.56), Malta (90.55), Austria (90.54), Poland (90.44) and France (90.25).
