Tributes have poured in for a ‘charismatic’ Britsh DJ following his death on the Costa Blanca.

Fresh Radio announced that British expat John Curtis, aka JC, passed away on Thursday morning.

It came just days after the presenter uploaded his latest podcast episode.

Fresh Radio said: ‘JC was a talented, charismatic presenter and broadcaster who has worked on numerous radio stations across the area including his very popular Monday show here on Fresh Radio.

‘As you could probably tell JC loved his 60’s music especially Elvis and was also a singer and talented guitarist.

‘He loved to have a chat, socialise and attend the live concerts at the Benidorm Palace which he also helped Christine promote on his weekly podcast.’

It added: ‘He also loved animals and had a food collection going at Iceland in Benissa, which he would then donate and deliver to the Save My Life charity.

‘The main loves in his life were his partner Emma and their dog Nina and our thoughts, prayers and love go out to them at this sad time.’

John’s funeral will be held this Saturday at Villajoyosa Cremitorium at 5pm ‘for anybody wanting to attend.’
