A leading Spanish cardiologist has revealed the three best foods for your heart’s rhythm.

The advice was given by Aurelio Rojas, a heart doctor with more than 50,000 followers on TikTok.

He regularly updates his followers with how best to look after their heart health.

In his latest clip, Rojas says ‘anyone with palpitations or a rapid heart rate’ should be eating three certain foods.

The first is avocado, which the expert says is ‘rich in potassium, magnesium, and healthy fats’ and ‘helps maintain a stable heart rhythm.’

The second is spinach, noted for its magnesium and folate which ‘regulate the nervous system and prevent extrasystoles.’

#palpitaciones #estres #taquicardia #aguacate #kefir #espinacas

Finally, Rojas recommends kefir, but insists it must be unsweetened and natural.

He said the fermented yoghurt ‘improves microbiota and serotonin’, bringing ‘less stress, more calm for your heart.’

He added: ‘Remember, the heart has its own electrical language, and often it just needs the right nutrients to return to its natural rhythm.’
