Rising Spanish football star Nico Williams has purchased a designer home in Marbella.

The 22-year-old Atletico Bilbao player snapped up one of the properties in the Epic by Fendi collection, according to the La Razon newspaper.

The row of villas are just one of many designer-backed projects in Marbella, which include the Dolce & Gabbana residences and the Karl Lagerfeld villas.

Epic by Fendi is located on the Golden Mile, one of the most exclusive property locations in the whole of Spain.

The private complex has three rows of villas and comes with a spa, gym, concierge service and exclusive social club. The development has fully sold out.

It is not known how much Williams paid for his villa, but they would have sold for several million euros each.

As of April 2025, Marbella’s property market continues to surge thanks to robust demand, rising prices, and a boom in luxury developments.

Property prices have risen for the past 10 years in a row, with average asking prices climbing 12% to €4,631 per square metre by the end of last year.

Marbella continues to attract wealthy buyers from the UK, Scandinavia, and the US, who are drawn in by the resort’s blend of luxury and Mediterranean lifestyle.

Hot locations like the Golden Mile and Sierra Blanca – dubbed the Beverley Hills of Spain – command premium prices, with some properties exceeding €30,000 per square metere.
