Throughout the week in which the Alicante Film Festival is celebrated, the city hosts various activities related to the world of cinema. On one hand, there are screenings of the films and short films competing in the Official Competition Section, and on the other hand, parallel proposals about cinema are organized: workshops, master classes, social cinema series, Mediterranean cinema series, LGTB short film series, screenings of guest films, etc. In addition, the opening and closing galas of the event stand out, where honorary awards are given to film professionals.
