Looking for a wholesome day out in Malaga? This unique experience lets you feed baby goats, make your own cheese and even try your hand at herding.
Tucked away in the hills of Casabermeja, the Casa de la Cabra Malagueña offers visitors the chance to get up close with one of Andalucía’s most iconic animals.
The star attraction is giving a bottle to adorable baby goats, in a hands-on activity that’s just as popular with adults as it is with kids.
Visitors can also:
- Learn how to make traditional goat’s cheese
- Take part in guided tastings
- Join herding sessions in the surrounding countryside
- Discover how this native breed is raised
The experience is run by the Association of Breeders of the Malagueña Goat, dedicated to protecting and promoting this local breed, known for its high-quality milk.
A taste of rural Andalucia
Set in the stunning surroundings of the Montes de Malaga, the experience blends nature, tradition and food – offering a glimpse into rural life that many visitors never see.

Workshops are designed to be interactive, fun and educational, with organisers promising ‘unforgettable memories’ for all ages.
And judging by reviews, they deliver. ‘Impossible not to smile,’ said one visitor. Another added: ‘I left with my heart full.’
How to book
Upcoming workshops – including cheese-making and bottle-feeding sessions – are scheduled throughout late March and April, including dates over Semana Santa.
