Throughout the week in which the Alicante Film Festival is celebrated, the city hosts various activities related to the world of cinema. On one hand, there are screenings of the films and short films that compete in the Official Competition Section, and on the other hand, parallel proposals about cinema are organized: workshops, master classes, a social cinema cycle, a Mediterranean cinema cycle, an LGTB short film cycle, screenings of guest films, etc. In addition, the opening and closing galas of the event stand out, during which honorary awards are given to film professionals.
