Car owners have been warned of thieves operating in an upmarket area of the Costa del Sol.
It comes after a black Range Rover was stolen in the town of San Pedro de Alcantara, Marbella, on Easter Saturday.
The owners said they were only gone for an hour when they came back to find their 4×4 was gone.
In a warning on Facebook they wrote in English: ‘There were very few cars around and no one visible on the street when we parked.
‘We were away for only about an hour, and when we returned, the car was gone. A police report was filed immediately.

‘We’re sharing this not only in hopes of recovering the car, but also to warn others in the area. Consider using GPS trackers or avoid this parking area completely!’
The family said the car was stolen while parked on Avenida Burgos, directly outside a salon, dry cleaners and smash burger restaurant.
