The dead body of a driver had to be cut out of their van following a horror collision in inland Malaga on Monday.
The crash occurred on the A-357 road in Casarabonela, which sits around an hour inland from Marbella.
Firefighters from Coin said in a statement that the collison between a truck and a van was caused by a wild boar running onto the road.
They said: ‘Our team from Coin responded to a traffic accident on the A-357, Km 36, near Casarabonela.
‘A head-on collision occurred between a van and a truck, caused by a wild boar crossing the road.



‘The truck driver exited the vehicle unassisted, apparently unharmed, while the van driver was deceased and trapped inside.
‘We secured the area, extricated the body for the appropriate authorities, and carried out subsequent preventative measures.’
