A British woman has been arrested for allegedly pushing her partner down a slope during an argument in Benalmadena.
The victim, a British man in his 30s, had to be hospitalised in a serious condition following the alleged attack last Thursday night.
According to police sources quoted by local media, the woman was arrested at the hotel where they were staying.
The man was found unconscious on the ground after falling some two metres and suffering a serious head injury.
His partner is accused of leaving the scene without helping him, nor calling emergency services.
The current condition of the victim is currently unknown. He was taken to the Virgen de la Victoria University Hospital (Clínico).
The investigation has been taken over by the Policia Nacional.
