Police are hunting an opportunistic thief who robbed a gangland murder victim seconds after he was gunned down on the Costa del Sol.
The suspect was caught on CCTV as he approached the body of the 25-year-old, who had just been sprayed with bullets by a teenage hitman in the middle of Calle Asturias in Fuengirola.

The thief is seen in the footage snatching the man’s bumbag, reports Diario Sur, just seconds after the victim was fatally shot in the head by an assault rifle.

The main investigation, led by Udyco-Costa del Sol with the support of Dutch authorities, quickly established the killing was a contract hit.
Within four days, officers identified the suspected shooter – a minor – along with five accomplices, bringing the total number of people involved to six.
But security footage also revealed the presence of this second man, whose identity remains unknown.
Police believe he arrived in Fuengirola around an hour before the shooting and have confirmed he had no connection to the murder itself.
Images show him pulling up his hood to cover his face before rifling through the victim’s belongings, grabbing the bumbag – thought to possibly contain takings from a nearby cannabis club – and fleeing the scene.
The investigation continues.
