The heatwave currently gripping Spain will continue until at least next Wednesday, experts have warned.
The warning has been issued by state weather agency Aemet, which said temperatures could reach as high as 43C in the south early next week.
On Friday, the provinces of Sevilla, Almeria and Granada are all on a yellow alert for high temperatures of up to 39C.
Parts of Granada are also being warned of strong gusts of wind.
Meanwhile, Cordoba and parts of Jaen are under an orange warning for highs of 40C.

Aemet said in a statement: ‘Over the weekend, temperatures are expected to continue slightly upward in areas of the southwest and the Ebro Valley, and remain relatively unchanged across the rest of the Iberian Peninsula, except in the Cantabrian region, where they will drop on Saturday and rise on Sunday.
‘Temperatures are expected to reach 40-42C in the valleys of the southwest quadrant and 40C in the Ebro Valley and depressions in the northeast.
‘For Monday and Tuesday of next week, temperatures are likely to continue rising in the southwest and inland northeast, while, conversely, they will begin to drop in the north, leading to continued abnormally warm temperatures.
‘During these days, temperatures will likely reach 41-43C around the main depressions in the southwest and northeast quadrants of the Iberian Peninsula.’
