This is the moment a kebab shop was raided by far-right thugs in Murcia during the third consecutive night of the ongoing ‘migrant riots’.
Footage shared on X shows at least a dozen young men in hemlets or balaclavas forcing their way into the business while the two sole workers inside run for cover.
The popular eatery is run by a Moroccan man who has lived in Spain for more than 26 years and who has been operating the restaurant for over a decade.
He said the attackers were armed with machetes, bats, stones and pepper spray and that they ‘destroyed everything.’
A video taken after the raid shows the serious damage caused by the men.
According to reports in Spanish press, just one man has been arrested for the assault on the restaurant.
It brings the total arrested since the violence began in the small town of Torre Pacheco on Friday to nine.
Interior Minister Fernando Grande-Marlaska today blasted the attacks against immigrants and their businesses.
He said they are a consequence of far-right rhetoric, which equates immigration with crime ‘without any reason to support it.’
