Sevilla Airport has announced new direct flights with Oslo which will begin within months.
Norwegian will operate the route to the Norway capital from March next year.
The service will run twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from March 24 to June 16, before resuming from August 18 to October 30.
The schedule leaves a gap between mid-June and mid-August, meaning the service will not run continuously throughout the summer.
Norwegian will also begin operating a direct service to the Danish capital, Copenhagen, at the same times, strengthening a connection already served by Scandinavian airline SAS.
The airline said the expansion would improve links between Spain and the Nordic countries while giving Spanish travellers more opportunities to explore northern Europe.

Norwegian communications director Catharina Solli highlighted Scandinavia’s milder temperatures, natural landscapes and lively cities as attractions for summer visitors.
Oslo combines contemporary architecture with access to the Oslo fjord, while Copenhagen offers historic landmarks, food and Scandinavian design.
The announcement follows news of a direct connection between Sevilla and Montreal, due to launch in September 2027.
