Sir Rod Stewart will perform in Sevilla for the first time as part of the 2027 Iconica Santalucia Sevilla Fest, it has been announced.
The 81-year-old singer will take to the stage in Plaza de España on July 6, becoming the first international artist confirmed for the festival’s seventh edition.
Tickets will go on sale through the official Iconica website at 10am on Monday, October 5.
Stewart arrives in Sevilla following a career spanning more than five decades and sales of more than 250 million albums and singles worldwide.
His extensive catalogue includes hits such as Maggie May, Forever Young, Rhythm of My Heart, Tonight’s the Night, I Don’t Want to Talk About It and Da Ya Think I’m Sexy?
The performer has experimented with rock, folk, soul and R&B, developing one of the most recognisable voices in popular music.
He has been inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice, received the ASCAP Founders Award and been honoured as a Grammy Living Legend.

Stewart was knighted at Buckingham Palace in 2016 for his services to music and charity.
He has continued releasing new material during the later stages of his career, returning to songwriting with Time in 2013 before releasing his 31st studio album, The Tears of Hercules, in 2021.
Further national and international acts are expected to be announced over the coming months.
