This is the moment a car was filmed overturned on the A-7 near Marbella on Monday.
Footage shared online shows a white car completely turned upside down following a collision on the major motorway.
It is not yet known how many vehicles were involved in the incident, nor how many people were injured.
A clip shared by someone travelling in a car on the other side of the road showed a huge traffic jam forming behind the crash site.
The accident took place near the exit for Cancelada, but heading in the direction of Estepona.
The roads were expected to be busier than usual today amid the big August getaway.
It follows a serious crash just a few kilometres up the road in Calahonda on Sunday.
In that incident, a green car appeared completely written off after crashing into the back of an Avanza bus.
Footage showed how the back of the bus had been seriously damaged by the impact.
Meanwhile, the front of the green car was completely destroyed.
Authorities have not released information on either accident at the time of publishing.
