A Place in the Sun presenter Jasmine Harman has shared an emotional message following the devastating Almeria wildfire.
The TV star, 50, offered her condolences to the families of those killed in what has become Spain’s deadliest wildfire disaster.
The mother-of-two, who lives in Estepona, took to Instagram after learning of the tragedy in Bedar, where 13 people lost their lives as flames tore through the countryside last week.
In particular, Harman addressed Malcolm, whose wife Annette was among those who died in the blaze. The couple had previously appeared together on A Place in the Sun.
She wrote: ‘Some awful news. You may have seen on the news that Spain has been experiencing some terrible wildfires, and I was so sad to hear of the tragic deaths of several people in Bedar.’
Harman continued: ‘Sending deepest condolences to those who have lost loved ones.
‘Especially to Malcolm who previously appeared with his wife Annette on A Place in the Sun.’
In a heartfelt message directed to Malcolm, she added: ‘I don’t really have the words to say how very sorry I am for your loss Malcolm.

‘I know we have never met, I can’t imagine what you are going through right now. Sending thoughts and prayers.’
She ended the post simply: ‘RIP Annette and others.’
The tribute comes as messages of support continue to pour in from across the UK and Spain following the catastrophic wildfire, which claimed 13 lives and has left communities across the Levante Almeriense in mourning.
Annette was among a group of residents and visitors who became trapped as the fast-moving blaze engulfed the area. Her husband Malcolm survived the fire.
Harman’s post has been met with messages of sympathy from followers, many expressing their heartbreak at the scale of the tragedy and offering their own condolences to the victims’ families.
