Residents and tourists have been warned about thieves operating in Marbella following a series of attempted car and home break-ins.
Footage shared online shows two separate incidents in Elviria on Wednesday (May 20), in the eastern half of the Costa del Sol municipality.
On May 20, two men were caught on CCTV attempting to force open a resident’s garage door.
The men were filmed pulling up in a red car and wearing gloves before trying to pull up the garage door with force.
However, they quickly abandon their plans when they hear multiple dogs begin barking at them.
Elsewhere in Elviria, one car was filmed with its side window completely shattered following a break in.
The person who shared the clip said: ‘Don’t leave anything inside your car, this happened today in Elviria.’
It comes amid a spike in attacks on tourists and residents as the summer season approaches.
