The Armani Group is launching its first-ever residential project in Spain with a new ultra-exclusive development in Marbella alongside Rafael Nadal.
The project, named ‘Armani Residences Marbella’, will consist of 33 luxury homes built on one of the last remaining private plots on the exclusive Golden Mile.
The development is being launched through a partnership between Sierra Blanca Estates, Armani Group and Palya Assets, the investment company led by Nadal and businessman Abel Matutes.
The project marks a fresh collaboration between Nadal and Armani after the former tennis world number one previously fronted campaigns for Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans in 2011.
According to the developers, the low-density luxury complex will occupy a 50,000 square metre plot surrounded by nature, with panoramic views across the Mediterranean and the Sierra Blanca mountains.
The residences are being marketed towards the ultra-high-end international market and will include a private club, spa, fully equipped gym and 24-hour concierge service.
Armani said the architecture and landscaping would focus heavily on privacy, tranquillity and sustainability.

Only 10 residences will initially be released during the first sales phase.
Carlos Rodriguez, CEO of Sierra Blanca Estates, described the development as a landmark moment for Marbella.
‘Armani is one of the most important brands in the world,’ he said, adding that the company’s arrival in Marbella would mark ‘a before and after’ moment for the city.
Nadal said the collaboration held ‘special meaning’ for him due to his long-standing relationship with the Italian luxury brand.
Matutes meanwhile described the partnership as the meeting point between ‘iconic design, real estate excellence and a lifestyle that goes beyond luxury’.
Construction is expected to begin in June, with completion scheduled for 2028.
