A series of weather alerts have been issued along the coasts of Andalucia for Wednesday.
It comes as the worst of Storm Regina is set to unleash downpours and strong winds across much of the region.
On the western coast of Almeria, including Almeria city, an orange alert for strong wind is in effect from 8pm on Tuesday night until 3am on Wednesday.
According to state weather agency Aemet, gusts are expected to reach 90km/hr.
On the Costa del Sol and Guadalhorce Valley, a yellow alert for heavy rain and thunder is in force between 8am and 6pm on Wednesday.
Aemet is predicting up to 15mm of rainfall per square metre in an hour, which may be accompanied by hail.
The same warning is in place for Granada’s Costa Tropical and much of the province’s inland areas, including the Sierra Nevada and Alpujarras, plus Guadix and Baza.

An identical warning is also in place in the Campo de Gibraltar, except it begins at 9pm on Tuesday and ends by midday on Wednesday.
