Lamine Yamal has given a video tour of his flat as he prepares to move into the mansion once owned by Shakira and Gerard Pique.
The clip went viral in December, shortly after the FC Barcelona winger, 18, launched his own YouTube channel.
Filmed in a laid-back style, Yamal guides viewers through a spacious duplex apartment with three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, living-dining area and a terrace.
The decor is minimalist and functional, with the footballer sharing personal touches and anecdotes along the way.
Yamal revealed that his home must always smell of vanilla, with multiple room sprays placed around the apartment.
The video racked up millions of views in just a few days and quickly climbed into YouTube’s trending section.
‘This is my flat from the last few years,’ Yamal explains in the video, encouraging viewers to subscribe – and teasing that he’ll reveal his new home once the channel hits a certain number of subscribers.
Over the past year, Yamal has been steadily expanding his real estate portfolio, including buying homes for family members.
His most high-profile purchase, however, is the former mansion of Shakira and Gerard Pique in Esplugues de Llobregat, Barcelona.
Built in 2012 and set on a plot of nearly 4,000 square metres, the modern property boasts landscaped gardens, a swimming pool and multiple leisure and sports areas.
Yamal plans to adapt the house by incorporating training spaces, a private gym and enhanced security systems to ensure privacy and comfort.
