An investigation is underway after a young woman was found dead next to her car in Malaga city on Sunday.
The grisly discovery was made at around 9.15pm on a public street in the Puerto de la Torre district.
Policia Nacional said the corpse was found on Calle Alejo Carpentier, next to the woman’s vehicle.
Sources told local media there were no visible signs of violence and that, while the investigation remains open, all indications point to a natural death, with the involvement of third parties ruled out.
Emergency services were alerted when the 112 hotline received a call reporting an unconscious woman in the street.
Paramedics raced to the scene but could do nothing but confirm her death.
Investigators are now awaiting the preliminary autopsy results to determine the exact cause of death.
