The Guardia Civil has confirmed it is investigating a viral video showing a shirtless man clinging onto the bonnet of a moving car in Sevilla.
The video, filmed from inside the vehicle, was taken on the SE-30 ring road, one of the city’s main traffic arteries.
The driver and front-seat passenger are audibly distressed in the clip, which shows the man refusing to let go of his grip.
The man is seen gripping the windscreen, moving across the bonnet and striking the glass with his hands, while gesturing at the two women inside the car.
At one point, he even presses his face to the windscreen and kisses it, as the vehicle continues along the road.
During the recording, the passenger urges the driver to contact the police.
The video continues until the car pulls into a petrol station, where the driver repeatedly sounds the horn.
At that point, the man is seen climbing back onto the vehicle, with no clear resolution shown.
The clip ends without revealing how the incident concluded, fuelling further concern among social media users.
Sources from the Guardia Civil have said that the exact origin and date of the video are currently unknown.
They also confirmed that no calls or formal complaints linked to the incident appear in official records.
However, the force said the footage is being investigated.
