A British national has been arrested for shooting up a bar in Marbella.
The suspect, named as Michael George, was cuffed at Jose Maria Cordova airport in Colombia on Thursday.
He is wanted by Interpol for allegedly firing multiple shots against various people during the incident on August 16, 2023.
His arrest was reported by General William Oswaldo Rincon Zambrano on X.
He wrote: ‘At Jose María Cordova International Airport, the Policia Colombia captured Michael George, a British citizen wanted by Spain for the crimes of attempted homicide and illegal possession of firearms, in response to a red notice from Interpol.
‘The man now in custody was being sought for events that took place on August 16, 2023, in Marbella, Malaga, when he carried out multiple shots against various people, including minors, putting the lives of those present at the scene in grave danger.’
