The body of the second man missing from floods in Alhaurin el Grande has been found.
The victims have been identified as Juan Francisco Zea, 53, and Antonio Morales, 54, who were lifelong friends and well-known figures in the local community.
The body of Juan Francisco Zea, known to friends simply as Zea, was found on Sunday afternoon at around 5pm, after both men were reported missing overnight.
He worked as head of studies and a mathematics teacher at IES Los Montecillos in nearby Coin.
The school paid tribute on social media, writing: ‘We have no words to describe what you meant to us.’
Antonio Morales, the second victim, was located on Monday at around 1pm.
He owned a cafe-ice cream parlour on Camino de Malaga, one of Alhaurín el Grande’s main commercial avenues.

According to information confirmed by local authorities, the two men were last seen at around 11pm on Saturday after leaving a restaurant in the Camino de Malaga area, where they had spent the afternoon with a shared group of friends.
Antonio was reportedly driving Juan Francisco home to the Las Lomas area, on the outskirts of the town.
At some point, their van – which was found first and significantly damaged – was washed away by a rapid.
