Jasmine Harman has raced to shut down a ‘ridiculous’ rumour after being ‘repeatedly’ congratulated while on her way back to Spain this week.

The A Place In The Sun star, 50, had been in London to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Channel 4 show.

Upon flying back, the mother-of-two said multiple people messaged her to congratulate her on the ‘pregnancy.’

In a video on Instagram she said: ‘I’ve received quite a few messages today while I’ve been travelling back from London, congratulating me on my newly announced pregnancy.

‘I’m not even kidding… who’s making up this stuff? I mean it’s just all AI, clickbait.

‘Please, just know that I’m not pregnant, I’m 50 years old for god’s sake, get real!

‘Why do people even bother making this stuff up? It’s super, super ridiculous.’

It comes days after Harman paid an emotional tribute to her late A Place In The Sun co-star Jonnie Irwin, following his death from lung cancer last year.

The father-of-three tragically died at the age of 50 last February after a years-long battle with the disease.

November 18 would have been his 52nd birthday, just days after the 50th of his beloved co-star Jasmine.

Jasmine shared an old picture of herself with Jonnie on Instagram, writing: ‘Happy heavenly birthday dearest Jonnie.’

She added: ‘We miss you so much, but especially this weekend when I was celebrating my 50th.

‘You were there at my 30th birthday, and my 40th – always the life and soul of the party.

‘I never thought the day would come when I would catch up with you in age. The last time we saw each other was your 50th birthday!

‘This pic was taken 20 years ago! I will always treasure the memories of the fun times we had.

‘Sending so much love to your lovely family.’
