A stunning beachfront development being built in Estepona has been crowned the best residential project in Spain.

The gong was awarded by judges at the European Property Awards, recently held at the London Marriott Hotel.

US buyers are flocking to Spain’s property market and spending the most, data shows

Tyrian Residences, developed by Prestige Expo and Grupo BZH, will comprise 40 premium homes directly on the seafront, with prices ranging from €3.6million to €8.5million.

According to the developers, around half have already been sold.

More than 100 international experts formed the panel responsible for choosing the winner.

They praised Tyrian for its ‘architectural and functional excellence, innovation and adaptability to new ways of living’ and ‘high-end amenities and bespoke design options’.

The judges were also impressed by its strong security standards, commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency and craftsmanship.

Prestige Expo Group CEO Vitaliy Rushchynskyy told Idealista after the award ceremony that the recognition reinforces Estepona’s commitment to innovation, sustainability and high-quality residential design, adding that the development represents ‘a vision for the city’s future’.

Grupo BZH president Antonio Bazán said the project reflects a blend of innovation, environmental responsibility and local identity, describing Tyrian Residences as an homage to Estepona’s character and setting.

What the residences offer

Homes range from 300m2 to 1,000m2, including three and four-bedroom apartments and duplex penthouses, all designed with panoramic views over the Mediterranean.

The largest units will include private lifts and garages for four or five vehicles.

The interiors aim to recreate the feel of a high-end Mediterranean villa, featuring:

  • Living areas up to 70 m²
  • Principal suites of around 50 m²
  • Ceiling heights close to three metres
  • Expansive terraces extending the living space outdoors
  • Extensive amenities and 24-hour services

Residents will have access to more than 1,400m2 of shared spaces, including:

  • Spa and heated pool
  • Hammam and saunas
  • Treatment rooms
  • Gym, yoga and pilates studio
  • Cinema room
  • Golf simulator
  • Children’s area

Concierge service will operate 24/7, and homes will feature integrated security with dual access points, licence-plate recognition, perimeter laser systems and round-the-clock surveillance.

The project is set for completion in summer 2026.
