This is the terrifying moment a car caused a head-on collision while driving on the wrong side of the AP-7 motorway on the Costa del Sol on Saturday.
Footage shared on Instagram shows the vehicle weaving through oncoming traffic, before almost hitting a lorry, which flashes its lights in a bid to alert the driver.
People on the other side of the road can be seen hanging out of their passenger windows and waving at the car.
Eventually, a white car is seen crashing directly into the vehicle, as the group of people recording the incident gasp in horror.
The Spanish Eye has cut out the moment of the collision from the clip out of respect for the potentially injured.
The incident is believed to have occured near the exits for Mijas.
The Spanish Eye has contacted the Guardia Civil for comment.
