A Spanish bullfighter is facing drink-driving charges after crashing a van into a roundabout in Sevilla.
Cayetano Rivera Ordoñez smashed into a palm tree at around 9pm on Sunday night, while leaving the Real Club Sevilla Golf in Alcala de Guadaira.
The ‘legendary’ matador, who hails from a bullfighting dynasty, is reported to have tested positive for alcohol via a breathalyser following the incident.

Police sources told ABC that Ordoñez lost control of the van he was driving, veered into a landscaped roundabout and crashed into a palm tree, which was knocked down by the force of the impact.
The bullfighter is said to be in good health, having suffered no serious injuries, although the material damage was considerable.
It’s not the first police incident Ordoñez has been involved in of late, as last June he was arrested at a fast-food restaurant following an altercation with its staff.
Subsequently, the bullfighter filed a complaint against police officers, alleging an unlawful arrest.
Francisco Rivera, the bullfighter’s brother, has stated that the crash was all ‘a scare and, well, thank God nothing serious happened.’
When asked whether the accident was due to speeding, Francisco replied: ‘I don’t know. But anyway, thank God… the important thing is that nothing happened and that no one was harmed. That’s what’s important.’
