A British man has been found dead on the streets of the Costa Blanca.
The unidentified man, reported to be in his 50s, was discovered in the early hours of November 2 in Alicante province.
According to the Guardia Civil, officers were called to the scene at around 7.45am after Spain’s 112 emergency service received a report of a body lying in the street.
The man was found between two parked cars on Avenida Trenc d’Alba, in Javea, an area hugley popular with the British expat community.
As reported by Levante-EMV, there were no immediate signs of violence.
The Guardia Civil has launched an investigation to determine the circumstances surrounding the death.
An autopsy will be carried out to establish the cause of death.
