Multiple people were left trapped by a malfunctioning ride at the San Pedro Feria in Marbella on Monday night.
Photos shared online showed the moment one of the fairground rides came to an abrupt halt mid-air, trapping several riders on board.
The incident occurred around 7.20pm, prompting an emergency call to 112 Andalucia.
Local Police in Marbella were first to respond, reporting that multiple people were stranded on one of the mechanical attractions in the fairground.
Firefighters were dispatched to the scene, where they safely evacuated both children and adults from the stalled ride, watched by onlookers gathered below.
No injuries were reported, and medical crews present at the site were not required to intervene.
The attraction was closed pending further inspection.
