A 13-year-old boy has died after a collision involving an electric scooter in Sevilla province.
The accident occurred in El Saucejo shortly after 7.20pm on Thursday, October 2.
Emergency services received several calls reporting that a youngster was lying unconscious in Calle Majadahonda and urgently needed medical attention.
According to the Guardia Civil’s first findings, the teenager was riding the scooter with another boy as a passenger when he lost control and struck a parked vehicle.
Medics from the 061 Emergency Service rushed to the scene alongside Local Police officers.

The 13-year-old driver was stabilised and evacuated in a critical condition to Osuna Hospital. Despite the efforts of doctors, he later died.
Initial reports suggested the passenger was eight years old, but Guardia Civil later clarified he was also 13.
The second boy suffered injuries but is not believed to be in a life-threatening condition.
The main working theory is that the driver became distracted before the scooter hit the stationary car.
The incident is now under investigation by the Traffic Accident Unit of Utrera.
