This is the moment a disgruntled customer set fire to a bar in Sevilla after he was told they had no mayonnaise for his montadito.
The shocking scenes were caught on CCTV at the Las Postas bar in Los Palacios y Villafranca, at around 7.15pm on Wednesday evening.
According to the owner, Jose Antonio Caballero, the man ordered two sandwiches and two beers before asking for mayonnaise. Staff explained the bar did not have any sachets left.
He appeared to say there was no problem and left the establishment.
However, instead of letting it go, the customer allegedly went to a nearby petrol station, filled a bottle with fuel and returned to the bar.
When his demands were again refused, he poured gasoline over the counter and ignited it. CCTV footage shows a sudden fireball that sent customers, including children, scrambling.
The blaze caused damage an estimated €10,000 in damage, but staff and regulars managed to extinguish the flames quickly enough for the bar to reopen the next day.
The assailant suffered burns to his hand during the arson attack. Quick-thinking employees and two young customers restrained him until Guardia Civil officers arrived.
He remains in custody and is expected to face court this Friday. Charges include criminal damage and arson endangering life.
