Dozens of weather alerts have been issued for severe heat and rain across different parts of Spain on Monday.
According to public weather forecaster Aemet, Valencia, Alicante and Mallorca will be met with showers for the majority of the day.
Yellow-level warnings for heavy rainfall are in place in the most affected areas from 12pm until 9pm.
These include the north and north east of Mallorca, inland areas of Valenica province, both north and south, and inland areas of Alicante province, including Xativa.
Meanwhile, much of Andalucia will be on alert for extreme temperatures.

The provinces of Cordoba and Jaen are under an orange warning for maximum temperatures of 41C.
Neighbouring Sevilla is on a yellow alert, with the mercury set to reach 39C.
Inland Malaga, including Antequera and Archidona, is also under a yellow warning for heat, with highs of 38C predicted.
