Liverpool forward Diogo Jota has died alongside his brother in a devastating car crash in northern Spain at the age of 28.
The Portuguese international was travelling with his younger sibling, Andre, when their vehicle veered off the A-52 motorway near Sanabria, in the province of Zamora, shortly after midnight.
Emergency services rushed to the scene at kilometre 65, but it was too late.
The car had burst into flames after careening off the road, engulfing both the vehicle and surrounding scrubland in fire.
Jota, capped 36 times for Portugal, was pronounced dead at the scene.
