Tens of thousands of football fans have descended on Bilbao ahead of tomorrow’s Europa League final between Tottenham Hotspurs and Manchester United.
Hundreds of Brits were seen partying in the streets of the Basque city on Tuesday night.
In one clip shared on X, traffic lights can be seen smashed to bits on the ground, after one reveller was filmed climbing them to lead a chant.
Another video showed the moment a Manchester United fan accidentally entered a street filled with Spurs supporters.
He suddenly – and lightheartedly – had half finished beers in plastic cups thrown at him, while rival fans jeered.
The final will take place at the San Mames Stadium in Bilbao on Wednesday, with the kickoff scheduled for 9pm local time
It will be the third time two English clubs have contested the Europa League final.
Bilbao is preparing for an influx of over 60,000 English fans, with the city’s mayor emphasising the importance of a ‘festive and respectful’ atmosphere
