Vortrag: Verletzliches Alter – die Bedeutung von Spiritualität
The German Buddhist Union (DBU) is the umbrella organization for Buddhist communities and Buddhists in Germany that transcends traditions. The main goals and activities of the DBU can be summarized in six points: supporting the development of an authentic Buddhism in the West and conveying it in a contemporary way, offering common activities, encounters, and exchanges for Buddhists of different traditions in Germany, presenting Buddhism in Germany through public relations, writings, events, seminars, courses, and informational materials, implementing the Buddhist principle of compassion and interconnectedness of all beings through social and societal engagement in projects, being a partner for interdisciplinary and interreligious dialogue in our society, and serving as a neutral information source on Buddhism.
