Barcelona is planning to renegotiate their deal with Spotify, who pays €65 million per year as a base plus bonuses (€70 million total) and an additional €5 million per year for naming rights.
Spotify has the option to unilaterally extend their sponsorship from 2026 to 2030 and then to 2034, with each extension increasing their fee by €10 million (potentially reaching €80 million per year by 2030 and €90 million by 2034).
The club believes that its kit sponsorship is now worth €120 million per year, significantly higher than the amounts agreed upon in the current extension terms.
