British tourists have joined the search for a missing Scotsman following his mystery disappearance in Portugal.
Greg Monks, 38, vanished from the party resort of Albufeira on Tuesday and has not been seen or heard from since.
In an update on Friday afternoon, his sister Jillian said there were ‘still no sightings’.
Another relative said the friends he was travelling with ‘are out looking for him and searching with the police.’
Another British tourist commented under an appeal: ‘We’re in Albufeira now, we were looking around last night.’
Many others commented that they would go looking for Greg today. The Scotsman was enjoying a stag do when he went missing along the party strip.
His sister said she is ‘beside herself’ with her worry.
In an appeal online, the concerned sibling said she had already contacted his accommodation and local police.
Greg was reportedly staying at the Novochorro Apartments.
