Mercadona has launched its own pistachio chocolate bar for less than €2.

The Spanish supermarket’s option is far cheaper than the so-called ‘Dubai chocolate bars’, which can sell for upwards of €20 each.

The ‘Dubai chocolate bar’ has become a food trend on TikTok over the past year.

The milk chocolate treat is packed with pistachios and knafeh (or kunafa), a type of shredded phyllo pastry.

The delicious treat was exclusively available in Dubai until companies began exporting it last year, and before manufacturers began creating their own inspired versions.

Enter Mercadona, which is now selling a 105g gram ‘fusion’ bar of white chocolate and pistachio, for just €1.95.

It’s descriptions says: ‘White chocolate filled with pistachio cream and toasted phyllo pastry.’

The treat is available in stores nationwide, but you might want to move fast as they’re likely to fly off the shelves.
