Watch: Man is dragged away by police in Malaga for splashing figure of Christ with water

The centuries-old tradition sees the brotherhood, or religious fraternity, carry a large figure of Jesus Christ on a float, which rests on their shoulders.

A Semana Santa spectator has been arrested in Malaga after being seen splashing a figure of Christ with water. The unnamed man was seen being dragged away by local police on Monday after causing a commotion in the heart of the tourist mecca.
