A British family have made a fresh appeal to have their pet dog returned after he was allegedly stolen during a walk on the Costa del Sol.

Little Udon was walking with its owner, Lexi Murray, in Estepona in early March when he went missing on the beach next to the El Fuerte hotel.

She believes he was stolen after several people reporting seeing a little Yorkshire terrier being taken away by two women with other dogs.

Little Udon was walking with its owner, Lexi Murray, in Estepona in early March when he went missing on the beach next to the El Fuerte hotel.

In a fresh appeal this weekend Lexi said: ‘Please, the individual who has our little Udon, we beg you, please leave him at a veterinarian or the local police without saying anything. You are breaking a family.

‘Please, if you have a heart, we ask you from the bottom of our hearts, we are not the same people without our little one. We are completely broken, our home is not the same without him.

‘Please, please, please! He needs to be with his family… We just want our baby back where he belongs, with the family who raised him and who truly loves him. Please, we beg you.’

Lexi has spent weeks searching for her beloved pet, garnering huge support from fellow Brits along the coast.

One Brit previously sparked hope when she shared a photo of a lost Yorkshire terrier in La Duquesa in Manilva.

Lexi rushed to the port but was unable to find the pup and determine if it was him.

She said: ‘I don’t know (if it’s him) at the moment, I’ve been sat and walked through all the streets of the port since 7.30am this morning. I’m still here, not given up.’

Udon is described as ‘very friendly’ and his disappearance has shattered Lexi’s family.

An initial appeal on March 10 read: ‘My friend has lost her dog around 7.30pm, he’s called Udon… very friendly and is wearing his harness, something spooked him and he just ran.’

Lexi said she is now offering a cash reward for Udon’s return and says she will not involve the police as long as he is returned safely.
