What are ‘torrijas’? The delicious Spanish dessert traditionally enjoyed over Easter

Families across Spain will be celebrating Easter this week, with thousands of processions, masses and local celebrations. Among the traditions is a delicious dessert called torrijas, which is often referred to as Spain's own version French toast.
